A membership for individual researchers, students and practitioners who want to keep learning, get methodological help, and belong to a research community that has a standard.
A research community, not a mailing list
Most researchers in Bangladesh working outside a well-resourced department have no one to ask about a sampling decision, no affordable route to a statistician, and no community holding them to a standard. Membership is our answer to that. It is deliberately inexpensive, and it is deliberately not a route to authorship.
Membership does not buy authorship, publication or a thesis.

Six things, in more detail
METHODS CLINIC
A monthly group session where members bring a live methodological problem — a sampling decision, an analysis plan, a reviewer's comment — and work it through with our team and with each other.
ONE-TO-ONE CONSULTATIONS
Scheduled sessions on your own study, with a researcher who has read your protocol beforehand. Associate members get two a year, Full members four.
TRAINING AT MEMBER RATES
Workshops and short courses in research methods, statistics, qualitative analysis and scientific writing, at a materially lower rate than the public price.
RESOURCES AND TEMPLATES
Protocol templates, consent forms, reporting checklists (STROBE, CONSORT, PRISMA, COREQ), data management plans and analysis plan templates.
THE COMMUNITY
A journal club, member seminars, and a directory that lets members find each other — which is how most collaborations actually start.
FIRST SIGHT OF OPPORTUNITIES

Apply
Complete the membership application below. Tell us which type you are applying for, your qualifications and what you are working on.
Review
We check that the type fits — we will move you to a different type rather than decline you, if that is the right answer. Fellow applications go to a review panel.
Confirm and pay
We send confirmation, an invoice and the membership terms. Membership runs for twelve months from the date it is confirmed.
Get started
You receive your member account, the resource library, the clinic schedule and the directory listing within two working days.
Membership application

We respond within five working days. We use what you send only to process your application, in line with our Privacy Policy.
Before you apply
Does membership give me co-authorship on anything?
No. Authorship is earned through contribution under ICMJE criteria and is never a membership benefit, a purchase or a negotiation. If that is what you are looking for, membership is not it — and neither is anything else we sell.
Will a member get their thesis written or edited?
We will not write it. We will help you design the study properly, analyse the data correctly, and edit your own writing so that it communicates clearly — the same boundary that applies to every client.
Can an institution buy membership for its students?
Yes. Institutional arrangements are handled under an MoU rather than through this page, because they usually include training and methodological clinics as well. Discuss an institutional collaboration.
Can I join from outside Bangladesh?
Yes. Clinics and consultations run online, and the resource library is open to all members. Some in-person events will only be practical if you are in Dhaka.
What happens at the end of twelve months?
We write to you before your membership expires. There is no automatic renewal and no stored payment instrument.
Can membership be refunded?
Set your refund position here before publishing. A common and defensible one: a full refund within fourteen days of confirmation if no member benefit has been used, and no refund thereafter.
