Awareness
Evidence is not useful if the people it concerns never hear it. Our awareness work translates research — ours and others’ — into health and science information that is accurate, understandable and honest about what is not yet known.
Most health information is either incomprehensible or wrong
The first kind is produced by researchers writing for other researchers. The second is produced by people who are good at communicating and are not reading the evidence. Between them sits a very large gap, and people make decisions about their health inside it.
We work in that gap. Not because it is a marketing channel — though we know that people who read our awareness work sometimes go on to commission our research — but because it is the part of the research process that is most often skipped, and because it is the reason this organization exists.
One rule governs this entire section
Every claim we make is one we can show you the evidence for. Where the evidence is uncertain, we say so. Where it has changed, we say that too. Every piece names its author and cites its sources.
If we ever publish something here that reads like advertising, we have failed at the thing we are for.

Awareness designed around evidence, not assumptions
We work with organizations, institutions, schools, workplaces and community groups on awareness initiatives — designing them around what the evidence supports rather than around assumptions about what people do not know.
DESIGN
An awareness programme built around what the evidence actually supports.
MATERIALS
Accurate materials in Bangla and English, sourced and reviewable.
FORMATIVE RESEARCH
Understanding what your audience currently knows and believes, before you tell them anything.
EVALUATION
