Raising a research-integrity concern
If you believe we have fallen short of our published ethics policy, write to the ethics address above. You will receive a substantive response within ten working days.
Where things go
This form reaches a monitored institutional mailbox, not a personal one, and we answer every message within five working days. If your enquiry is one of these, there is a faster route:
- A study you want done — Start a project asks the questions we would otherwise have to ask you.
- A joint study or publication — Propose a collaboration.
- Joining as a member — Membership.
- A research-integrity concern — the ethics address, not this form.
For journalists
Tell us your deadline in the first line. We will say plainly what the evidence supports and what it does not, and we will tell you when a question is outside what we have studied rather than offer an opinion dressed as a finding.
We can provide a named spokesperson, a written comment for attribution, or background on request.
