And what we do not claim
Methodological and analytical capacity in epidemiology, survey design, qualitative research and health economics, working in Stata, R and SPSS.
Field capability in Bangladesh through vetted field partners with nationwide coverage, supervised directly by us. We do not carry a permanent enumerator team and we do not say that we do.
Local institutional knowledge — field access, language, and the contextual understanding that makes a sampling frame valid and an instrument answerable.
A commitment to publishing and disseminating what we find, on an agreed timetable written into the collaboration agreement.
Authorship, agreed up front
We settle roles and authorship in writing before the work begins
Where our contribution meets all four ICMJE criteria, authorship follows as a factual consequence of that contribution — described in the collaboration agreement, never priced and never negotiable as a commercial term. Where our role is methodological or analytical support, it is acknowledged rather than authored.

If you are a funder rather than a partner
What we are seeking
Funding across the four areas of our research agenda — from government research funds, international donors, foundations, and private and institutional funders.
What we can provide
Our research agenda, team CVs, governance and integrity documentation, registration details for both entities, and a capability statement.
Where we are today
Three studies are in the field with funding from the Planning Division of Bangladesh, the BMRC and Independent University, Bangladesh. Two further areas are in design and seeking funding.
